- Purpose: The purpose of this tool is to provide easy access to the medical AI artifacts, namely machine learning models and associated data sets, to the physicians, clinicians, researchers and scientists working in the life sciences and medical fields. The feature is not a commercial service and not to be used for any commercial purposes by the users.
- User Obligation: You agree to use the feature in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations and to not use the feature for any illegal or unethical purposes, including but not limited to the sharing of personal data or sensitive medical information.
- No medical advice: The feature is intended to use for research and experimental purposes to help researchers and physicians to accelerate their research. This tool is not intended to be used by the general audience and does not generate medical advice.
- Accuracy of Information: Although care has been taken to ensure the accuracy of the information provided through this experimental feature, we make no representation or warranty, express or implied, as to the completeness, accuracy, or usefulness of such information.
- Liability: In no event will Hippo AI be liable to you or any third party for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of this tool or the information provided through it, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. The users are liable for the content or papers that they submit to the askpaper.ai tool and in no way Hippo AI is liable to check if the users violate any copyright or Intellectual Property rights of the content that belongs any third party. Hippo AI will not be liable for any damages arising from use, modification and distribution of the artifacts, such as datasets, source code and training models by a third party.
- Copyright and Content Ownership: We claim no intellectual property rights or copyright over the material you provide to the AskPaper tool. Your profile and materials uploaded remain yours and you are solely liable for not infringing the copyright of any third-party material uploaded. Hippo AI does not pre-screen content, but Hippo AI and its designee have the right (but not the obligation) in their sole discretion to refuse publication of or remove any content that is available via the service.
- Permissible rights: It is our conviction that social value of machine learning in the medical, healthcare and biotechnologies can be realized only if the lifesaving medical knowledge is available for all the stakeholders. Hippo AI works together with the community to democratize access to data and medical AI tools. Therefore, it is an imperative for Hippo AI to release all the project associate artifacts such as datasets, source code, trained models under a permissive copyleft license.
- Data Privacy: Hippo AI ensures that the data processing is carried out in accordance with the GDPR. AskPaper, this experimental feature requires the potential users to register by providing their email addresses. Upon registration we collect the names, email, location, intended purpose to access the AskPaper feature and occupational details of the users. This data is collected for the purposes of providing access to the AskPaper, to optimize this experimental feature and to allow the users to collaborate as part of the community. This data is collected with the consent of the users and the users are provided. We do not collect any payment details or complete addresses of the users. - Changes to Terms: We reserve the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. Your continued use of this tool following any such modification constitutes your agreement to be bound by the modified terms and conditions.
- Governing Law: These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the application is hosted.
