Unite Data - Defeat Inequalities
We are a non-profit organization, based in Berlin and build an ethical foundation for Artificial Intelligence, that serves everyone’s healthcare needs. In a nutshell: We bring together global datasets and people, to build what we call Data and AI commons. We open-source global medical data sets with our Hippo AI license. This process guarantees, that not just the data has to stay accessible, but also the AI source code derived from the data.
<aside> 💡 Yes, I'm a Hippo: Being a Hippo means that you, like Hippocrates more than 2000 years ago, believe in open knowledge. He defined with the Hippocratic Oath, that medical knowledge has to be open and free of charge. If you are a Hippo, you want to maintain this tradition. But also, the hippopotamus' demonstrates strength and courage, as well as calmness during times of crisis. It also stands for maternal instincts and the ability to navigate through our emotions with clarity.
